Ca. 10 EUR* (301 SKK)* per year can be saved by switching off completely 5 appliances which are currently in stand-by mode.

STAND-BY mode is a state when the electrical appliances are permanently connected to the electric network. Home appliances, such as TV, DVD player, radio alarm clock, microwave or computer consume electricity also in stand-by mode, i.e. when they are not disconnected from the electric network, just switched off e.g. by the remote control. If you completely switch off TV which you watch 4 hours a day you save 2,14 EUR (64 SKK) per year. This calculation applies to a TV with an input power of 2 W in stand-by mode.

* The calculated saving is only approximate and includes the electricity price in the tariff ŠTANDARD MAXI (DD2).
